Cataract Surgery Options for Patients living in South Jersey

Cataract surgery in our practice involves no needles or stitches, and typically takes less than 10 minutes to accomplish. Patients have the choice of standard lens implants (intraocular lens) or premium lens upgrades that correct astigmatism or allow patients to see both distance and near (multifocal lens implant). Current multifocal lenses include the Crystalens, Restor multifocal lens and Technis multifocal IOL. Consultation with our cataract specialists and help you determine the best lens for you. Our practice also has transportation available the day of surgery, so that friends and family members with not have to miss work. The procedure is done in our state-of-the-art surgical center, so that no hospital visit is required. In fact, there is evidence that cataract patients have better outcomes in an ambulatory surgery center than in the hospital setting.
